What To Expect From Reveal Med Spa’s VI PeelⓇ Treatment

A VI Peel® treatment is a safe, painless, and effective way to exfoliate the skin and reveal healthier skin underneath. When you schedule your consultation, you can expect the provider will:
  • Evaluate your skin
  • Gather your medical history
  • Learn about your aesthetic goals
  • Curate a custom treatment plan
The treatment itself will include cleansing of the targeted area and application of the VI Peel® solution in two phases — one allows the solution to penetrate the skin while the second allows it to go deeper into the dermis to remove dead skin cells and toxins.  The VI Peel® solution should remain on your skin for at least four hours to ensure maximum results. During this time, you might experience tingling or numbing while the solution works.  The VI Peel® solution is removed and your face is washed with a mild cleanser and water. About three days post-treatment, your skin will begin to peel, with the majority of shedding happening between days three and six.

Yes! VI Peel® can be done on the same day as many other aesthetic treatments and can even be used to help accelerate the effects of many treatments performed in conjunction. If you’d like to receive other treatments alongside your VI Peel®, discuss your aesthetic goals with your provider to create a custom treatment plan.
To ensure maximum results of your VI Peel®, we recommend:
  • Avoiding sun exposure and using SPF 30 or higher
  • Avoiding strenuous activity/sweating
  • Using the products recommended by your provider
  • Sleeping on your back with a slightly elevated head to avoid swelling
  • Avoiding picking at the skin while it’s peeling
